Emmett’s premier event, Gem County arenacross took place Sept. 21-22 at the Gem County Fairgrounds. The arenacross style track was built by a professional track crew inside the rodeo arena. Both nights showcased a few top professional racers from the northwest as well as a variety of amateur racers from kids to adults.

The fairgrounds grandstands were packed both nights with people ready to see some intense motocross action. This event marked the first time that motocross was held at the fairgrounds since 1985. Emmett natives, Cole Siebler and Mike Lees promoted the event along with many local sponsors.
