JV, Frosh Huskies take districts

Both the junior varsity and freshman/sophomore Huskies boys’ basketball teams won the district championships in home games Feb. 20.

Poplin pins wrestling victory on Emmett

Emmett Huskies wrestler Andrew Poplin, at 195, defeated Bishop Kelly’s Patrick Oster with a fall at 3:16 to clinch a 30-29 win for the Huskies over the Knights at BK Feb. 10.

Varsity ladies dump Payette in districts; Homedale next

The No. 3 seeded Lady Huskies of Emmett will take on the No. 2 seeded Homedale Trojans tonight at 7:30 at Treasure Valley Community College after demolishing the Payette Pirates 55-16 in the first round of districts Feb. 4.

Lady Huskies' junior varsity in district championship

The undefeated junior varsity Lady Huskies’ basketball squad moved on to the championship round Feb. 3 after they crushed the Parma Panthers 45-19 to open their district tournament play in Payette.
