When Debbie Anderson joined the National Association of Professional Women, she did it so she could build relationships with other working women. She did not dream the organization would honor her with a Woman of the Year award for her excellence and dedication.
Anderson has been a Realtor for many years and sold a house in Gem County in the 1990s. Dropping into the Emmett Valley was an experience she could not forget. The experience sent her on a quest to find a home here. And, in 2006, she did.
She now works for Evans Realty and is on the board of directors for the Emmett Valley Realtor Association. She also owns her own property management company.
She is married to Andy Anderson and their blended family has five children and 10 grandchildren. She volunteers time at the Emmett Valley Friendship Coalition Friendship Dinner.
