Emmett house fire closes road

At approximately 9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 4, Emmett Fire Department requested mutual aid for a second alarm assignment from Gem County Fire Department 1 for a working house fire in the 700 Block of East 7th St. GCFD1 responded with a five man engine company. The fire was later upgraded to a third alarm, bringing additional engines from Ada County. Please keep clear of this area. All roads in the area are blocked by either fire apparatus or police officers.
